Christine Aziz, LAc, MSOM is a nationally board-certified and state-licensed acupuncturist who brings a compassionate, hands-on approach to healing. She earned her degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City and has been deeply committed to helping people find their way out of pain and illnessand back into balance and vitalityever since. Christine believes that healing is a partnership. She encourages her patients to take an active role in their treatment, offering tools they can carry into their daily lives to support lasting change. Her work integrates various acupuncture styles, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Trigger Point Dry Needling, with a specialty in advanced Japanese acupuncture developed by world-renowned teacher Kiiko Matsumoto. Christine has had the unique opportunity to study and practice directly under Kiiko Matsumotos supervision for 3 yearsan experience that continues to shape her highly attuned, palpation-based approach. With a focus on womens health, structural imbalances, stress-related conditions, and internal medicine, Christine often treats yoga and sports-related pain and injuriesgently uncovering the deeper patterns behind discomfort. Her background in dance and yoga infuses her practice with a deep understanding of the body in motion. Christines sessions may draw on a variety of supportive toolsbreath work, movement, meditation, and mindfulness philosophytailored to each individuals needs. She sees acupuncture and yoga as beautifully complementary practices, both grounded in awareness, presence, and the bodys innate wisdom. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the highly respected OM Yoga Center in 2005 and has continued studying Thai Yoga Massage, prenatal yoga, anatomy, and teaching methodology ever since. Teaching yoga remains one of her great joys. On weekends, youll often find Christine enjoying life along the Hudson River with her husband, two children, and their beloved dog.

Your First Acupuncture Session Your initial visit is a thorough and personalized experience focused on understanding your unique health needs. It includes: 1.Comprehensive Consultation -Well discuss your main health concerns, symptoms, and goals. -Well review your medical history, lifestyle, medications, and key areas such as sleep, digestion, GYN health, stress, and emotional well-being. -Diagnosis includes pulse and tongue reading, abdominal (Hara) palpation, and other Classical Chinese and Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese methods. 2.Acupuncture Treatment -A tailored acupuncture plan is created to address imbalances and support healing. -Thin, sterile needles are used to restore balance and improve function. -Optional therapies may include Gua Sha, Moxa, Breathwork, Meditation, or Yoga as needed.
