Hello, my name is Maeyah. I’ve been a practising RMT for nearly four years now and I’ve already gained so much from this profession. Since I began my training for this career I knew that this was the right thing for me. I love working with the community in a personal, authentic and wholistic sense. I approach the treatment room with an ear for active listening and a grounded/regulated nervous system. Massage therapy is about more than manipulating physical tissue. I do my best to anchor in compassionate, healing energy in every service I offer. I am also skilled at providing deep, therapeutic pressure and techniques if that is needed. Over the years I have found that marrying intuitive flow and therapeutic modalities has yielded very positive treatment outcomes. I’m here to offer some space holding, some physical relief from tension and some listening in a safe and relaxing environment. My treatment style involves myofascial (connective tissue) release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and passive stretching. All the while maintaining present focused, grounded awareness. If this sounds like something you’re interested in or you feel like you could benefit from I would love to connect.
