Hello, my name is Dawn Remington and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I spent the first 12 years of my career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I worked in a variety of settings including private practice, nursing homes and home health care. After having my first massage ever I loved it so much that I decided to go back to school to become a Massage Therapist. I had an opportunity to rent space in a Physical Therapy Clinic and after graduation from Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I opened my own clinic called Healing Hands Clinical Massage. I owned and operated this business for 19 years and just recently closed it due to my husband and I deciding to move to Rapid City, SD to be closer to our children. I started at Solutions Chiropractic in October of 2021. I am excited to be a part of this great team and serve this community in meeting their healthcare needs. With over 30 years in the health field I have worked with a variety of diagnoses and clients. I specialize in Medical Massage (focusing on your specific area of Pain), Stretching, Sports massage, Cupping and General Relaxation Massage. It is always my goal to tailor each massage to your individual needs to achieve optimal pain relief and client satisfaction. I look forward to working with you and improving your mobility, decreasing your pain and above all treating you with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect.
