Roniel Dio, a graduate of Vancouver Career College’s Registered Massage Therapy program in November 2017, developed a keen interest in sports medicine after witnessing frequent injuries among his jiu-jitsu teammates. Driven by a desire to contribute to his community and assist his friends, Roniel pursued a career as a massage therapist, specializing in athlete rehabilitation and recovery. He has since worked with a diverse range of athletes, from professionals to amateurs, and from young to old. Roniel particularly enjoys treating contact sport athletes, possessing a unique ability to understand injury mechanisms due to his own participation in such sports. His treatment sessions are characterized by a comprehensive assessment and targeted intervention, aimed at facilitating a swift return to activity or simply resuming daily routines, pain-free. Outside of his professional life, Roniel is often found on the mats, training jiu-jitsu with his teammates and actively competing in the sport. When not engaged in competition or training, he enjoys cooking and preparing delightful bento boxes for his significant other.
