Hi, I’m Ben Gordon, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I trained at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga in Asheville, North Carolina, where I developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful, client-centered bodywork. The techniques I use in my sessions are guided entirely by what will help my client feel most integrated and present in their body. This may involve focused deep pressure to address areas of tension, stretching and soft tissue joint mobilization to improve movement. A slower, more subtle work may also be used to support and regulate the nervous system–often a thoughtful blend of approaches within a single session. My goal is not only to alleviate pain, but to support each person in the ongoing journey toward greater freedom, balance, and ease in their body. Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy baseball, cooking, martial arts, and spending time in the mountains with my partner and our dog!
