The Massage Place Collective

I began my journey towards the healing arts at an early age guided by my Naturalist grandmother and family deep in the 'hollers' of the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina often in search of elusive salamanders, and crouching down to capture the ephemeral woodland medicinals plants. My early years developing mindful presence & patience continued to inform my life’s work as I delved into ecology, plant medicine, and a myriad of natural sciences at The Evergreen State College ( degree in 2001) as well as body systems thru Massage Therapy and the evidence-based and deeply rooted traditional wisdom of Chinese Medicine’s complex healing (healthcare) system. I graduated from The Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics and received my Massage Therapy Licensure in 2014, MA 60453759. My areas of study/practice encompass; Trigger Point Therapy, Sports, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy, Lomilomi, Tuina, Cupping, and Gua Sha treatments. My bodywork style is patient-centered, collaborative and intuitive. I hold a Master's level Degree in Acupuncture from Middleway Acupuncture Institute and became Licensed in 2021 as an Acupuncturist in Washington State, AC 61209299. I am also certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture (NCCAOM). My offerings include Chinese Medicine; (moxa, Tui na, dietary therapies, cupping qi-gong exercises, and needling(stand-alone), bodywork(stand-alone), and a unique blend of acu-massage drawing from my bodywork foundation of palpation, deep listening and Trauma Informed Care practices. See others as yourself. See families as your family. See towns as your town. See countries as your country. See worlds as your world. Tao De Ching (Chapter 54)
