Initial Exam consists of detailed and thorough chiropractic exam includes general tests, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and reflexes. Specific orthopedic and neurological tests may also be used to assess the: Range of motion of the affected body part(s) Muscle tone Muscle strength Neurological integrity Further chiropractic tests may be necessary to assess the affected area, such as having the patient move in a specific manner, posture analysis, or assessing motion of the affected body part. Most people are able to receive an adjustment on the first visit.
