Katie grew up in the small community of Dawson Creek and once she graduated from High School she took the leap to Edmonton to pursue her goal to become a Massage Provider. She graduated from massage school with a certificate in Swedish Relaxation Massage. After graduation, she worked for a prominent chiropractor for five and a half years. With four years experience as a Massage Provider she became passionate about Chinese Medicine. Attending Reeves College, Katie graduated with honours from the Tradition Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture program. She then worked very hard to study and complete the national examinations to become a Registered Acupuncturist. Katie works every day to continue her education, using her passion for knowledge to drive her business forward. Katie is continually upgrading her knowledge with Education Courses that broaden her scope of practice and her abilities to treat patients. In Katie’s practice she uses a variety of modalities such as Moxibustion, Cupping, Gua Sha, Acupressure, Electrical Stimulation, Auricular Therapy, and Massage. Katie started her practice in Dawson Creek out of her home and in late 2015 moved into her own clinic space. Since moving into her clinic in Dawson Creek, Katie has expanded to include an office in Chetwynd as well. Since moving back to Dawson Creek, Katie has started a family while growing her practice and enjoys spending time with her children and husband whenever she can.
