Lisa graduated from the School of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia in 1995 and the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver. Lisa has been practicing massage therapy since 1997. Lisa has had the opportunity to work alongside other healthcare practitioners including chiropractors, physiotherapists, hand therapists, and personal trainers; and appreciates how all of these disciplines can work together to provide effective treatment for the patient. Focusing on the body as a whole entity is Lisa’s approach to treatment. As a trained massage therapist, Lisa can detect variations in the soft tissues and by using the correct techniques, help the client maintain a much healthier physical state. She is very mindful about using techniques that are effective and still within your range of comfort. Lisa uses a variety of modalities such as Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point, Joint Mobilization, Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, IASTM, and Patient Education.
