Alex is a sport enthusiast at heart and his love affair with alpine skiing brought him to Whistler. A former Team Physiotherapist for Alpine Canada, Freestyle Canada and roles in private practice. Alex is a manual therapist grounded in the science and study of movement with a diverse range of skills: movement analysis, exercise prescription, joint mobilizations and manipulation, anatomical acupuncture and IMS. Academic interests focus on biomechanics and the study of forces acting on the skier as it relates to postural sway and relative lower extremity muscle EMG signals and foot and ankle mechanics within a ski boot; among other topics. Alex fills his time outside of the clinic with adventures on the mountain in winter and summer with his wife Jade and their two kids, Scarlett and Griffin.
