I’m Anshul, a registered physiotherapist with advanced certifications in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Lymphedema Management, Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, and the Bone Fit Program. I began my physiotherapy career in 2008 and have been proudly serving the Owen Sound community since 2014. My clinical focus is on pelvic health, cancer rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and osteoporosis care — all grounded in a deep commitment to women’s health, education, and empowerment. My passion for pelvic health physiotherapy comes from a very personal place. For over a decade, I lived with pelvic pain that no one seemed to understand. It began with vaginismus and painful intimacy — something I believed I just had to live with. When I sought help, I was told everything “looked fine,” yet the pain persisted. During that time, I managed PCOS with birth control, faced dryness and muscle tension, and carried layers of confusion and shame about my own body. Having also experienced sexual trauma, I often felt as though my body had turned against me. For 12 years, I searched for answers. Through learning, self-compassion, and persistence, I gradually healed — reconnecting with my body in a way I never thought possible. That journey transformed not only my personal life but also my professional purpose. I became a pelvic health physiotherapist because no woman should have to endure years of pain, silence, or dismissal. Today, I help women experiencing pelvic pain, vaginismus, painful intimacy, pelvic tension, pelvic prolapse, birth trauma, c-section recovery, urinary and fecal incontinence, to reconnect with their bodies and rediscover comfort, confidence, and pleasure. My approach blends evidence-based care with empathy, education, and a safe, judgment-free environment where women feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal.
