Sam is a UK-trained physiotherapist who relocated to British Columbia in early 2021. He holds a BSc in Applied Sports Science from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in physiotherapy from King’s College London. With experience in diverse settings, including professional sports and major trauma, Sam has a well-rounded perspective on recovery. As a former elite rugby player, Sam understands the mental and emotional toll of an injury just as much as the physical. He believes in keeping his clients active in their sport or activity throughout the rehabilitation process. Following a thorough assessment, Sam uses a combination of hands-on/manual therapy and advanced strength and conditioning to create a personalized treatment plan. Sam enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. He has a special interest in running assessments and post-operative knee rehabilitation, especially ACL reconstruction. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Sam staying active with CrossFit, skiing, golfing, or hiking with his family!
