Microneedling is a collagen induction technique. Tiny needles cause invisible punctures to the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s repair mechanism: collagen and elastin production in the papillary dermis. New capillaries are formed, increasing blood flow to the face. Microneedling can be used to eliminate or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars and age spots. It helps with acne reduction and hair growth.
