The Physio Studio
Toby Smith, BSc Physiotherapy, MISCP Chartered Physiotherapist I am currently working to earn qualifications in Pilates and Strength & Conditioning and I bring a broad understanding of exercise and its role in treating and preventing injuries. I have gained experience in a variety of settings, working with professional dancers and footballers in a sports clinic in London, to more recently working in a large step-down facility in Beaumont, where I treated a variety of orthopaedic, neurological and respiratory conditions. I have worked with both acute injuries and more chronic pain, and manage both with a mixture of hands-on manual therapy and rehabilitation programs. Specialism: Neck Pain, Back Pain, Knee and Shoulder Injuries When I’m not at work, I have a keen interest in athletics so I’ll be watching the latest competition or out for a run myself. I also enjoy strength training and yoga, and have competed in a number of obstacle races. Otherwise, I’ll be back home in Cavan, out hiking, cooking or with my head stuck in a good book.
