**Currently on Maternity leave until Autumn 2025. On limited return, not taking new clients ** Gloria is a 2020 massage therapy graduate from Kikkawa ICT College with most of her training at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto. Since 2022, she has relocated to beautiful Nova Scotia for the fresh air. She is in good standing with MTANS. What brought her to massage therapy is her love of working with people and helping them feel their best. She is fascinated with anatomy and understanding how all the body systems work together. The body is a complex and interesting thing! Her approach to treatment is to find the root cause of discomfort and pairing soft tissue treatment and movement with client education to tackle what is causing pain from the source! She loves working with populations with chronic pain, anxiety, and pre and post natal clients. Prior to massage therapy, Gloria worked in the performing arts sector, in theatre, dance, opera, and live events as a Stage Manager and Events Coordinator. She has a BFA in Theatre Production from Ryerson University. She has spent a lot of her time backpacking, couch surfing, and hitchhiking around South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. When she isn’t in the clinic, she is probably out with her dog, or trying out new baking recipes.
