Amu Arok is a graduate of Vancouver Career College’s 2026 Registered Massage Therapy program. Her passion for healthcare began in 2015 when she started her career as a Recreation Therapist. With over a decade of experience in the medical field, she brings a well-rounded, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach to client care, especially for individuals with diverse health needs. Massage therapy became a natural extension of her long-standing dedication to helping others. With more than 330 hours of clinical experience and a strong commitment to continuing education, she provides skilled and thoughtful care tailored to each individual. She specializes in treating muscular tension and pain, using targeted techniques to help clients reduce discomfort and restore function. She also has a particular focus on pregnancy massage, offering safe and supportive care for those navigating the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and postpartum life. As a mother herself, she connects authentically with clients balancing parenthood, recovery, and self-care. Her practice also includes relaxation massage to help reduce stress, support nervous system regulation, and relieve tension-related headaches. She is trained in lymphatic drainage, supporting post-surgical healing, decreasing swelling, and promoting overall wellness. In addition, she provides gentle and thoughtful care for elderly clients, focusing on improving circulation, maintaining mobility, and supporting comfort and dignity through every stage of aging. She blends clinical knowledge with intuitive, compassionate care, with the goal of creating a calm and welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their healing journey. When she’s not in the treatment room, Amu enjoys spending time with her family. As a proud mom of two curious, energetic boys, she finds joy in simple moments—baking, reading stories, or building forts together. She is fluent in English, Malayalam, and Tamil, allowing her to connect comfortably with clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and practicing yoga, both of which help her stay grounded and centered. As a mother, she has developed a deep sense of patience, attentiveness, and compassion—bringing warmth, understanding, and genuine care into every massage experience.
