I have always been fascinated by what the body can regain when movement is used with purpose. That belief led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University, followed by a Master of Physical Therapy at Western University. Today, as a registered physiotherapist, I help people move beyond pain, rebuild confidence in their bodies, and return to the activities that give their lives meaning. My clinical training includes McMaster University’s Medical Acupuncture Program, with a focus on neurofunctional acupuncture and electrical stimulation modalities, as well as Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. I also bring a background in strength and conditioning, personal training, and group coaching, which allows me to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and long term physical performance. I believe effective physiotherapy begins with understanding the person, not simply treating the injury. Every patient has a different story, lifestyle, and definition of recovery. My approach combines hands on therapy, acupuncture, purposeful exercise, and education to create a treatment plan that reflects each person’s needs and goals. My aim is to help patients understand their bodies, trust movement again, and become active participants in their recovery. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy strength training and playing soccer and tennis. Staying active keeps me connected to the challenges, setbacks, and rewards that come with pursuing better movement and performance.
