Jamie completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic and then completed a Masters of Applied Science in Musculoskeletal Management.. Always motivated by a thirst for knowledge he went on to receive his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. In addition to several manual therapy courses Jamie has taken certified courses that include IMS, (Intramuscular Stimulation) The McKenzie Method, Pain Management, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Spinal Stabilization and Rehabilitation, and Active Release Technique. It is Jamie’s desire to provide his patients with the best care which requires him to stay up to date with new research and maintain current skills. Jamie has over 20 years of clinical experience working diversely in Canada and abroad in positions that include Sports Team Therapist, Manager of an Occupational Rehabilitation Program and Team Member of a Chronic Pain Program. Although his interests range, his focus remains on patient centered care and assisting patients achieve their goals. When not working Jamie can be found doing what most do in Cumberland; biking, skiing, running and enjoying the surrounding mountains and forest with his wife and two wonderful kids.
