Monica Fiorentini was born and raised in the big city of Dallas, Texas. Having a psychiatrist for a father and strong willed Cuban immigrant for a mother, she was passed down the love of sciences, determination, and a fire in her heart to care for others. During high school, her interests revolved around her anatomy and biology classes, singing in choir, and giving shoulder massages to her friends. She went on to study music and animal sciences at Texas A&M Commerce, but felt the pull of family growing strong, so she moved to Austin to be closer to her brothers. While working as a pet stylist at Petco, she received her first professional massage and realized her calling was massage therapy! Monica graduated from Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in 2014 and has continued her quest for knowledge by taking continuing education classes to become a versatile and dynamic therapist. She is also a part time instructor at Lauterstein and enjoys giving back to her community by fostering the next generations of massage therapists. After almost 12 years of massaging people of every age and demographic, her love for perinatal work has brought the most fulfillment. For her there is no greater joy than the honor of caring for momma and baby. In her free time Monica enjoys hiking with her husband and fur pup, baby sitting her nieces and nephew, taking scuba trips, and trying new things. She loves to sing, dance, hula hoop, try new foods, learn new languages, and keep her mind and body active! She is excited and honored to be a part of your health care team and looking forward to helping you feel your best!
