Though born in Taiwan, I have spent the majority of my life here in the lower mainland. It is here where I was raised and it is here where i have chosen to put down roots. My BSc in Biology was done at UBC and it was there where I was first exposed to Ballroom Dancing. As someone who respects and admires human performance, becoming a competitive dancer came quite naturally to me. The precision, strength, timing and flexibility required was a constant challenge to which I devoted countless hours and over 15 years of my life. I quickly came to realize how critical a finely tuned body was to my performance on the dance floor when injury brought me to seek treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist. Having experienced the healing power of an RMT started me on my journey to where i am today. In 2012 I set aside dance and enrolled full time at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) for their 3000 hour program. With a lot of hard work, sacrifice and the support of friends and family, my goal of becoming a Registered Massage Therapist was realized. Having a strong foundation to start from and constantly upgrading and expanding my training, my goal is to create a customized treatment plan for all my patients to speed recovery and allow them to return to their peak performance. In my spare time I attempt many different sports with questionable success. Some of the activities I can’t seem to stay away from include volleyball, golf, badminton and I look forward to picking up competitive ballroom dancing again in the near future.
