Sam Baker-Pauley grew up in Sundridge, Ontario, where his passion for sport and exercise sparked a lifelong interest in movement and performance. After earning a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario, he chose physiotherapy as a career that combines his knowledge of exercise with his values of empathy and perseverance. Sam is passionate about helping people overcome pain and injury so they can return to the activities that bring them joy. His clinical interests include sport and athletic injury management, post-surgical rehabilitation, functional exercise prescription, manual therapy, post-concussion care, and running-related injuries. Outside the clinic, Sam enjoys running, golf, hockey, ultimate frisbee, camping, canoeing, and playing guitar, and has achieved personal milestones such as completing the Toronto Half Marathon in 2024 and the Ottawa Marathon in 2025. He believes in creating a positive and empowering rehabilitation experience where clients feel heard, supported, and motivated. Guided by the philosophy that “movement is medicine,” Sam blends hands-on care, exercise, and education to build confidence and help people thrive.
The physiotherapist/ physiotherapist resident will take a detailed history of the particular injury and the patient's overall health, and perform a physical examination to determine the proper diagnosis and the most effective, efficient method of treatment. The one hour assessment session includes an initial treatment if time permits. *Our Physiotherapists/ Physiotherapist Residents at Reactivate are not currently accepting WSIB or MVA patients*
