Dr. Kara Carapella, owner of Carapella Chiropractic, received their Doctorate in Chiropractic, as well as their Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College were they graduated as a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. Dr. Carapella focuses on the underlying causes of dysfunction and disease, and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health care. Dr. Carapella has advanced training in postpartum care, perinatal pelvic pain, tethered oral tissues (TOTs / pediatric tongue ties), RockTape Myofascial Movement Taping, RockPods Myofascial Cupping, and Sacro-Occipital Technique. In addition, Dr. Carapella is certified in Webster Technique, a protocol used to restore biomechanical function of the pelvis for patients who are pregnant, postpartum, or trying to become pregnant. Dr. Carapella’s passion is in treating prenatal and postpartum pelvic pain and associated pelvic floor dysfunction.
