Joshua Hawk Hawkins graduated from Avalon School of Massage in Houston, TX and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013. He is a Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy specialist who is also certified in Sports Massage, Full Body Stretching and Injury Recovery. Hawk focuses primarily on clients with neck and shoulder pain, general upper body tension and lower back aches including sciatica. He utilizes therapeutic techniques, firm to deep pressure, and stretching to curate a personalized session for each individual. His goal is to help clients feel prolonged relief, improved range of motion, relaxation, and to encourage them to apply self-care methods at home.
Each massage session is tailored to the needs of the client. Therapeutic massage combines Swedish, deep and sports massage techniques to best meet the client's needs. Whether it is focusing on relaxation or a targeted area of tension, your massage therapist will spend a few minutes at the beginning of the session speaking with you to determine the best methods to use during the session. Depending on the client's needs, heat may be used on certain areas to ease tension.
