Dr. Kurtis graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where his training emphasized evidence-based care, rehabilitation, and helping patients return to the activities they love. With a background in personal training and experience working in a Toronto clinic with access to a full rehabilitation gym, Dr. Kurtis has always believed that effective treatment shouldn't stop when you get off the treatment table. Working out of our chiropractic and physiotherapy room, his approach combines hands-on chiropractic care with individualized rehabilitation and exercise to help patients not only feel better, but move better and build lasting strength. Depending on your goals and what your body needs, a session with Dr. Kurtis may include chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilization, soft-tissue therapy, cupping, Graston, mobility work, strengthening exercises, corrective exercises, and functional rehabilitation. Perfect for patient's who are reluctant about adjustments, or who have ran out of physiotherapy coverage, Kurtis does not have to incorporate adjustments if that is your preference. His experience working with athletes spans all levels—from Timbits hockey players and GTHL athletes to Canadian Olympic sprinters and Canadian Premier League soccer players. But his approach isn't reserved for elite athletes. Whether you're trying to get back to training after an injury, improve your performance in the gym, stay active as you get older, or simply move through everyday life without pain, he'll build your treatment around your goals. If you're looking for chiropractic treatment combined with hands-on rehabilitation and a personalized exercise program, Dr. Kurtis is your guy.
