She holds a PhD and MSc in Physiotherapy and completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Alberta. Daana has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and an Assistant Professor at AJUMS, where she taught and supervised Master’s and PhD physiotherapy students. She has also published numerous scientific papers in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.
