With a 3000-hour Advanced Massage Therapy Diploma from MaKami College and certification as a yoga teacher, Isabel brings a well-rounded, holistic approach to massage therapy. Her sessions often include guided stretching—drawing on her yoga background—to enhance mobility and support the body’s natural healing processes. Having worked in construction, office, and on-site environments, Isabel understands the toll daily activities and postural habits can take on the body. She tailors each session with open communication and active listening to meet the unique needs of every client. Passionate about human anatomy, she focuses on identifying the root causes of pain and dysfunction, treating the body as an interconnected system through a full-body approach to injury and pain management. Isabel offers a wide range of treatments, including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pre/Postnatal Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Cupping, Hot Stone, Stretch Therapy, Trigger Point, and Joint Play. Outside of work, Isabel loves dancing—especially salsa—and is an active member of the local salsa community. She enjoys practicing yoga in nature, particularly by the river, and celebrates her creative side each Halloween and Día de los Muertos by crafting her own costumes. One of her favorite destinations is Lake Pátzcuaro in Michoacán, Mexico, where she feels a deep connection to the vibrant Day of the Dead celebrations—a time when “life and death unite, and we can talk to our loved ones who are no longer with us.” The last book Isabel read, Glucose Revolution, reflects her ongoing curiosity about health, wellness, and how everyday habits can support the body’s natural balance. Friendly and approachable, Isabel is passionate about helping clients feel more connected, balanced, and at ease—both inside and out. Languages: Spanish (native), English (fluent)
