She has advanced training in manual therapy, biomechanical assessment, exercise prescription, acupuncture, and trigger point dry needling. Her treatment philosophy is based on identifying underlying dysfunctions that may be contributing to the presenting problem… so don’t be surprised if she looks at your neck and shoulder areas when you present with elbow pain :) Colleen is the owner and clinical director of Eagleson Place Physiotherapy. She graduated from McGill University in 1992 and worked in a variety of clinical settings including National Defence Medical Centre, Montfort Hospital, and Renfrew Victoria Hospital, before opening her own practice in Ottawa in 1997. She considers herself to be very fortunate to spend her days with such a wonderful group of associates, staff, and patients….and she loves her work!
