Zen in the City

Zen in the City

Growing up in the South Okanagan, Amanda recently returned to the Interior after spending over a decade in the Lower Mainland. A 2014 graduate of the 2800-hour Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College, she later returned as a Teacher’s Assistant and Clinic Instructor, helping students prepare for board examinations. Amanda has worked in a variety of settings, including multidisciplinary clinics, mobile massage, and home-based practice. Her treatments combine techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, passive stretching, dermoneuromodulation, and joint play to support a wide range of conditions, including repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, prenatal/postnatal care, fibromyalgia, and neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. She has also worked with athletes at events, including the BC Ride to Conquer Cancer and as part of the BC Bike Race Wellness Team. Amanda believes in practical, individualized care. Each treatment includes assessment, treatment planning, and home care recommendations to help clients feel their best both during and between appointments. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, working with horses, staying active, and exploring communities throughout the Okanagan and Cariboo.
