Lylanya has been an RMT for over 20 years. She trained in Vancouver at West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where she worked at a variety of clinics and outreaches like GF strong, UBC Varsity Athletes, Vancouver Marathon and outdoor adventure racing. She has worked with chiropractors, physiotherapists, naturopaths, nutritionalists and counsellors. Her continuing education includes Craniosacral Therapy, Somatoemotional Release, Myofascial release, Muscle Energy, Yoga Therapy, Nutrition, Somatic Flexibility, Mind Body awareness and Acupressure amongst others. She is trauma informed, focused on women’s health and empowerment. She did Craniosacral therapy and Somatoemotional release training through the Upledger Institute in California, and has her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Thompson Rivers University. She did Yoga Teacher Training through Blissology with Eoin Finn, which is alignment focused to protect joints and increase strength. Her treatment is wholistic using light pressure techniques including Craniosacral, Somatoemotional, Somatic Flexibility, Myofascial, Acupressure, Body Mind awareness, Vagus Nerve reset and Trigger Point therapy amongst others. She values guiding patients with appropriate home care to aid them in their health and recovery. Currently, Lylanya is working on her Master’s degree in Psychotherapy through Yorkville University where she is studying biosocialpsychology and research.
