About Naphawan Naphawan is a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) and Massage Therapist , Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB) . She is a proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) , the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) , the National Nurses United RN Response Network (RNRN) , and serves as a Medical Volunteer with both the Fairfax Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) and the Virginia Volunteer Health System (VVHS) . Naphawan is also a founder of Thai Wellness Center, with many years of experience working as both a Registered Nurse and massage therapist in hospitals, chiropractic offices, and natural healthcare centers, Naphawan brings a unique and compassionate approach to healing. Her extensive background bridges Western and Eastern medicine, emphasizing holistic care and whole-person wellness. In Thailand, she studied Traditional Thai Medicine, Thai Herbal, and Thai Massage at the Institute of Traditional Thai Medicine (ITTM) and became a Traditional Thai Medicine Practitioner , upon graduation, worked as a holistic nurse in public healthcare centers and hospitals. While at the hospital, she received special training at the Sirindhon National Medical Rehabilitation Centre (SNMRC) , specializing in the care and rehabilitation of patients with stroke, hemiplegia, spinal injury, cerebral palsy, amputation, and musculoskeletal pain . For over 30 years, Naphawan served as a Holistic Health Care Provider integrating Western and Eastern medical practices in hospitals and communities across Thailand. She used to owned a Thai Medical Spa , Thai herbal store and managed an organic herb farm , deepening her connection to natural healing and traditional herbal medicine. Naphawans educational background includes Health and Spa Management from Rangsit University, Thailand , and a Culinary Medicine Specialist program from The George Washington University . These studies further enhance her ability to guide clients in achieving balance through nutrition, bodywork, and lifestyle. Now based in Washington, D.C. and Virginia , Naphawan continues to promote holistic healing through her private practice, offering care that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. She is also an NCBTMB-Approved Continuing Education Provider , offering personal and group classes in massage therapy and holistic health practices.
