Michaela completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2017 and graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2019. She received both her degrees from the University of Alberta where she competed for 5 years as a member of the varsity tennis team, twice winning the CIS national championship. Following her time as an athlete, Michaela acted as the athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s varsity tennis teams. She has a special interest in powerlifting and general strength training and uses a combination of functional exercise and manual therapy to help clients reach their goals. Through working in both hospital and home care settings, Michaela is also trained in the assessment and treatment of neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
