David James Ferguson, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Working with active individuals and athletes, David’s treatments are guided by a structured assessment process that includes range-of-motion (ROM) testing, functional movement screening, and palpatory examination. He applies an osteopathic-informed clinical lens to understand how joint, soft-tissue, and movement restrictions may be influencing symptoms—then builds a clear plan aimed at improving mobility, load tolerance, and performance. David commonly treats tendon and overuse issues seen in racquet sports and training, including rotator cuff and shoulder pain, lateral elbow tendinopathy (“tennis elbow”), Achilles and patellar tendon pain, plantar fascia irritation, and hip/adductor complaints. Depending on presentation, he may integrate radial shockwave therapy and medical acupuncture alongside targeted manual therapy and home advice (mobility, graded loading, and recovery strategies). He is also completing ongoing education in manual osteopathic principles and techniques, and incorporates this training into his assessment and hands-on approach—while practicing within the scope and standards of Massage Therapy. David’s goal is to deliver focused, measurable care that helps clients return to training and sport with greater confidence and resilience.
