He has a unique background in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, having received his foundational education at Mudanjiang Medical University in China. After completing medical studies in diabetes, immunology, endocrinology, and pharmacology at the University of Calgary, Dr. Yu went on to accomplish a four-year doctoral program at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
