Maria-Laura began her journey in healthcare at Brock University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. This gave her a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science. Wanting to further her education and help people in a more hands on and holistic way, she went on to complete an intensive four-year Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario. She is a proud member of OSTCAN and completed over 4200 hours of osteopathic education with more than 1000 hours of supervised clinical practice. During this time, Maria-Laura developed a deeper understanding of the osteopathic principles that guide her practice; the body is a dynamic unit of function where all systems work together, and when given the right support, it has the ability to self heal and self regulate. Her osteopathic approach focuses not only on easing symptoms and pain, but by finding the root causes behind them. Maria-Laura’s goal is to restore balance and vitality through the body’s interconnected systems and she is dedicated to creating a welcoming space where patients feel heard, cared for, and supported on their journey to better mobility and overall well-being.
