Dr. Sandy Trail is an Alabama native originally from Lookout Mountain in DeKalb County near Little River Canyon. Dr. Sandy has many fond memories of family gatherings on the river and playing many different sports. Growing up in the garden, swimming in the river and running through the deep woods had an impression on her, and in high school and undergraduate college she studied biology and chemistry and graduated with Honors & Special Honors in 2010. Dr. Sandy's own experience seeking care as a patient led to her discovery of Chiropractic and ultimately her decision to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic from where she graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic with Honors in 2013. After a few years of world traveling and post-graduate training, she felt drawn to return to her native North Alabama homeland and ground herself. In her 12th year of chiropractic practice, Dr. Trail strives to deliver the highest standard of care through Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Functional Medicine & Nutrition and the Path of Yoga to provide a solid foundation upon which total wellness can be built, maintained and optimized for self-mastery to be realized. Consistency is key in continuing to build upon that healthy foundation to branch out and rise to new heights in your life. True healing occurs from the inside out.
