Dr. Matt grew up in Lincolnton, North Carolina. He began pursuing a B.S. in Biology, focusing on dentistry, during his undergraduate education at UNC Charlotte. He realized that with the efforts of modern medicine and the effects they have on patients’ health, he decided to seek a more natural option to healthcare for patients. Working as a chiropractic assistant after college, as well as receiving chiropractic care, he discovered the amazing and life-changing benefits of chiropractic and began a pathway to learning how to provide this service to others. Dr. Matt attended Life University in Marietta, GA. In the doctor of chiropractic program he learned various techniques to remove subluxations, restoring the communication lost in the central nervous systems of patients. Dr. Matt has received additional post graduate training and is certified in extremity adjusting through the Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner program. He believes the body works as one unit and all parts play a vital role in its overall health and function. Dr. Matt moved back home to North Carolina from Indiana in June 2021, where he was practicing for two years, to be closer to family and familiar surroundings. Dr. Matt has a God-given heart and passion for serving and helping people and plans to provide the best chiropractic care to his patients and surrounding communities!
