Mike Bencsik is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and local BC boy. He first became interested in massage therapy after it greatly helped him recover from an injury he sustained years ago. Being heavily involved in competitive Olympic weightlifting, Mike fully understands the importance of a team approach to healthcare and proactive treatments to ensure high quality training and performance. Mike is passionate about helping his clients get out of pain and back to the activities that bring them joy. He performs a thorough assessment to better understand the root cause of pain and injury, and develops an individualized treatment plan for each of his clients. When Mike is not in clinic, you can find him training and competing in Olympic weightlifting. He is currently ranked 2nd in the 109+ in Canada, a BC Provincial Champion, and working his way to compete in the next Commonwealth Games. A short assessment will be done at the start of your Initial Visit in order to develop an appropriate and individualized treatment plan for you. Home care and/or exercises may be given to you as part of your treatment plan at the end of each visit.
