Robyn Brush, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and the Texas Medical Board, and a certified practitioner of Asian bodywork therapies (AOBTA-CP). She is a current doctoral candidate of Pacific College of Health and Science. Robyn received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Gender Studies from Indiana University, and spent her first career in the field of social work, as a behavioral health case manager. It was through her own personal healing journey that she discovered and fell in love with acupuncture and herbalism and decided to uproot from the midwest to Austin, TX to earn her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Robyn takes a personalized approach with each patient, combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, bodywork, and lifestyle evaluations to help them achieve optimal health. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their well-being through the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine and self-care practices. Robyn has experience in treating a wide range of health conditions with particular interest in musculoskeletal pain conditions, women’s health concerns, fertility and assisted reproductive therapy support, and oncology acupuncture. She applies an individually tailored approach, using acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bodywork, herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy, and lifestyle evaluation to empower her patients to reach their health goals and feel their best. She places a strong emphasis on evidence-based and person-centered care. Robyn has completed additional training on the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries using orthopedic acupuncture and bodywork techniques, male and female fertility and assisted reproductive therapy support, facial rejuvenation acupuncture and cosmetic microneedling, and she has completed oncology acupuncture training through Memorial Sloan Kettering and M.D. Anderson. When not treating patients and studying for her doctorate, Robyn loves learning and experimenting with new healthy recipes, meal prepping, and spending time outdoors exploring Houston’s city parks.
