I'm a licensed Massage Therapist with a background in Nursing. I am skilled in many types of Therapeutic Massage techniques used to treat pain, tightness, and stress. I specialize in disorders of the head, neck, shoulder and back. I am especially interested in Myofascial Release, a gentle technique, that works by decreasing tension in the muscle as well as surrounding fascia, to increase ease of movement and decrease pain and tightness! Studies show that stress and anxiety cause increased pain. I address this by educating my clients on proper deep breathing during their sessions as well as using soft lighting, aromatherapy, relaxing music and a table warmer.
