Dr. Qingping Zheng is a licensed, board-certified Naturopathic Doctor in Canada. She currently practices in Guke Clinic, Toronto ( www.guke.ca ) and also is a part-time faculty in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), serving as a clinical supervisor. Education and Training: Dr. Zheng obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Toronto (CCNM) in 2016. Prior to attending CCNM, Dr. Zheng had worked as a medical doctor in China for over 10 years. Dr. Zheng graduated from Zhejiang University in 2001 and finished her residency program there. In 2007 she obtained her masters degree of rehabilitation medicine in Fudan University and since then had worked as an attending physician in the department of rehabilitation medicine in Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, specializing in neurological and sports rehabilitation. During 2010-2011, awarded by SASAGAWA fellowship from Japan, she was selected by the Chinese Ministry of Health to further her clinical training as a visiting scholar in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Tohoku University Hospital, Japan. Clinical Practice: Dr. Zheng has been trained to integrate conventional and natural medicine to offer the most natural, scientific, and evidence-based treatment protocol. Her focus is to empower clients and enable them to make informed choices about their health and to coach them to make health a priority. Dr. Zheng believes that preventive medicine is the best form of health management. She applies diet/lifestyle counselling, herbs, and acupuncture to provide each client with an individualized treatment plan. Neurological Health: Dr. Zheng has a passion for working on neurological conditions such as post-traumatic brain injury, post-stroke, spinal cord injury et al. While there is no cure for many neurological conditions, there are several strategies to slow down the progression of conditions and help improve the quality of life. Physical therapy and pain management: Dr. Zheng applies her extensive experience in physical medicine and uses acupuncture, muscle release therapy, botanical medicine, and nutrient therapy, and intravenous infusion therapy to quickly, effectively, and naturally reduce pain and provide lasting relief. Profession association Dr. Zheng is a member of good standing with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
For all New Patients who would like to begin care at our clinic. This appointment will be conducted in person.Your appointment will be conducted by a senior student intern who is supervised by a licensed naturopathic doctor. During the appointment the intern will review your health goals and health history then if possible and the supervisor agrees they will make preliminary treatment suggestions. While we aim for this treatments are not guaranteed at the first appointment. This appointment is not assigned to a specific intern, it is only linked to the supervising ND.
