##Meet Dr. Monica Dr. Monica Stephans, DC, Cert. MDT is a chiropractor specializing in the diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Stephans completed a clinical rotation at the Lee County Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cape Coral, FL, where she served Veterans in the pain management department. After that, she made her move to Chicago, where she’s since settled into her professional career. She holds advanced certifications in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT), Dry Needling, and the Webster Technique—a specialized approach for women during pregnancy that addresses pelvic imbalances and supports optimal comfort. She also incorporates soft tissue therapies such as trigger point muscle work, cupping, and instrument-assisted manual therapy to further enhance healing and performance. Her care approach blends targeted manual therapy, active rehabilitation, and personalized movement strategies to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and help patients take an active role in their recovery.
