Emily completed her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy earning her Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc). She is a professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Prior to becoming a principles-based Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Emily graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (H.BSc Kin). Spending most of her childhood as a competitive gymnast, Emily has always been passionate about the human body, movement, and health. Experiencing several injuries herself, she was introduced to the world of manual therapy at a young age. When she later discovered Osteopathy, Emily knew she wanted to pursue a career where she could help people live pain-free and feel their utmost best. Emily provides a holistic, non-invasive approach to treatment using gentle manipulations, emphasizing the body’s natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate. By working with the tissues of the body to remove asymmetries and restrictions, treatment aims to promote optimal flow of blood and appeal to the nervous system. Each patient will receive unique, individualized Osteopathic care, in order to facilitate health and improve tissue mobility. Emily enjoys staying active by hiking and paddle boarding, and loves spending time in nature. Her goal is to see her patients thrive, and to help them get back to doing what they love, free of pain and discomfort!
