Krys Dybowski, RMT and owner of Myokinetics Registered Massage Therapy, has completed the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Krys has also received a Diploma in Sports Science while working as a fitness consultant. Krys has been awarded first place prize by the Registered Massage Therapist Association of British Columbia (RMTBC) for his dedication and research within the field, and was ranked in the top 15 percentile during board examinations. He has experience treating patients with a wide variety of conditions such as motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries , sports injuries and the typical everyday aches, pains, and headaches. He has further experience working with UBC athletes, as well as working with spinal cord injuries at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre. In addition, Krys has vast knowledge treating patients diagnosed with systemic conditions, such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. Krys takes pride in thoroughly assessing each patient to provide the most effect treatment. He uses a wide variety of modalities such as deep tissue, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, muscle energy technique (MET) and soft tissue release (STR) to help patients reach their optimal health. As a very active individual he enjoys playing basketball, going for runs, spending time with family and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.
