Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am a Physiotherapist graduating with a MScPT from The University of Toronto. My passion and vibrancy for physical therapy stems from helping individuals like yourself on their road to recovery. Physical therapy is a broad field with a range of wonderful clinicians and approaches. My goal as a therapist is to genuinely understand you as a person, your lifestyle, and your wants/needs to then implement a whole-body approach. Through my experience, I have found this method works to not only treat the immediate problem, but it also empowers you to implement lasting change in your life and avoid recurring issues. An assessment is the time where I get to know you as an individual and develop a deeper understanding of what brings you into the clinic. Through open communication, thoughtful listening, and patient education, we can develop a personalized treatment plan to get you back to doing the things you love. It is my personal goal to motivate you during this process and ensure you get the most out of every session. I love to implement different therapeutic techniques I’ve learned along the way to tackle any uptake barriers you may face. Whether you need a personalized weekly exercise schedule, accountability reminders, equipment-less exercises, manual therapy, a mindfulness-based program etc., the possibilities are endless. I have an active approach to care, meaning I’ll provide you with the tools and exercises you need to effectively rehabilitate the problem. I enjoy working with all of my patients, but it is ultimately my goal that you become independent with the tools I’ve provided and can continue forward by implementing them into your routine. I look forward to meeting you and getting you back to the life you love, or better yet, one you’ve always desired but did not think was possible!
