#8A - 750 Fortune Dr, Kamloops, BC, V2B 2L2
Alisoun is a graduate of the Spa Therapy program through the Vancouver School of Healing Arts (VSOHA), and has been working professionally as a bodyworker since 2015 in the context of spas, heli-ski lodges, clinics, and mobile massage. The VSOHA program offered training in multiple modalities, including Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Joint Release, Reflexology, Shiatsu, and Hot Stone. Subsequently, she has pursued training in Integrated Fascia Therapy at Kine-Concept in Montreal, QC, Thai Massage at the Nan Community College, Thailand, Lomi-Lomi through Sacred Lomi out of California, USA, and Solace Signature spa modalities from Solace Spa based on Salt Spring Island, BC, all of which she integrates into her treatments. She brings to her approach a unique understanding of the moving body, cultivated from her 30-year career as a dance, circus and martial artist. Her work and training reflect a personal interest in body-mind practices that include the energetic, mental, and emotional components, as well as the physical aspects of being human. She often draws from these movement disciplines as well as her YTT500 Yoga Teacher Training for her home care exercises and development of rehabilitation programs for clients. Alisoun is currently in her final year of the RMT program at Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver, BC, and will be sitting for the Board Exam in October of 2027.
