Megan Kavanaugh is a registered Physiotherapist who graduated from Dalhousie University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and continued her education at Dalhousie University to achieve a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy in 2011. Since her graduation Megan has practiced in a variety of settings including but not limited to private health care, hospital based physiotherapy including acute care and outpatient orthopaedic clinics. Megan brings a multifaceted one on one perspective to treatment with a goal of determining the source of the issue to help her patients restore function and prevent the reoccurrence of injuries. Megan has continued to expand her knowledge through many continuing education courses such as Acupuncture, Hip Rehabilitation and The Shoulder Complex to name a few. Megan has also obtained multiple teaching certifications including 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certification as well as Clinical Pilates with a Pelvic Health Perspective. In her spare time Megan enjoys running, strength training, playing golf, spending time with family and her dog, Luna.
