Mend Acupuncture

Jessica holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in San Francisco, CA. She often uses Japanese, auricular, and scalp acupuncture modalities. She is most interested in treating the symptoms of both gynecological and neurological disorders. In addition, she enjoys helping patients with acute or chronic pain conditions. She is curious about the interconnectedness of culture, healing, and disease and is committed to promoting health equity and conducting research on treatment effectiveness, with regards to alternative, complementary, Eastern, and supplemental therapies. Her work has been published in Medical Acupuncture, and she has presented posters at conferences held by the Society for Acupuncture Research. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Payne is completing research she began as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Washington.
