Amanda has been practicing Massage Therapy for 7 years, and graduated with Honours from Trillium College in March 2016. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Before Amanda pursued her dream of Massage Therapy she was a Personal Support Worker with 15 years experience in health care. Amanda is trained in Swedish Massage, cupping, hydrotherapy, trigger point relief therapy, lymphatic drainage techniques, joint mobilization, and more. Whether you are coming in for relaxation massage or for a specific treatment of an injury or condition, Amanda strives to provide each client with the best client care and treatment they require.
Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues and joints of the body. Using a variety of hands-on techniques such as kneading, pushing, and stretching, the Therapist will treat muscles and joints which cause you the most pain and discomfort while providing a relaxing massage for areas that are less stressed.
