His treatment approach is informed by a master’s degree in physiotherapy from UBC (MPT), his time as an affiliate owner, CrossFit coach (CF-L2) and competitive exerciser, his experience in the martial arts (Shotokan karate), running and other competitive sports, and his education in psychology and the mind-body connection. He has trained in a variety of treatment modalities and believes in taking a holistic approach to treating clients – one that considers clients’ individual movement backgrounds and abilities, history of injury, needs, and movement goals before determining the best treatment options. Working with Alexi, you can expect enthusiastic engagement that will help you move and feel better!
Please text or call the clinic to book this option if another care provider (e.g. doctor, chiropractor, RMT, etc.) has referred you specifically to Alexi for care for the first time. During this session you can expect to have a detailed discussion of your injury and history, a movement assessment, and some hands-on treatment or movement prescription depending on what care might be best for you. We offer this lower rate to give more access to care for all members of the community.
