Naiya is a graduate of Ontario Tech University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a focus on Kinesiology. After graduating she did a post graduate diploma and worked as a physiotherapist assistant for 3 years. From there, she always had a passion to become a physiotherapist and went back to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy at Queens University. Having worked in acute care and various clinics, she prides herself on giving clients her complete attention to establish lasting therapeutic relationships and understand how best to support them. As a Physiotherapy Resident, Naiya plans on taking educational courses to advance her manual therapy skills as well as learn Acupuncture & Dry Needling in order to best support her patients. Naiya also has a growing interest in pelvic health and hopes to hone her skills enough to offer these services in the future. Besides work, Naiya loves to travel and explore new places, spend time with her family, and enjoys curling up with a good book and a cozy blanket.
First appointment with the practitioner, 1 hour in length where they will assess the area of injury and formulate a personalized treatment plan.
